Writing Class
Everybody knows that writing is a core skill needed for success in both college and the workplace. As reflection, starting from March 2005, the new SAT will consist of three sections, Critical Reading, Writing and Math. Each section will be equally scored on a scale of 200-800. That is, 2/3 of the SAT will evaluate your children's English Language skills.
It takes much effort to develop efficient language skills, and the training should start as early as possible. More importantly, a good mastery of language will greatly brighten your children's future. (Many immigrants including Chinese have experienced frustration of achieving higher in workplace, because of limitation on language.). How to improve student's writing skill becomes more important to all parents.
To serve the demand of our community, we now offer English Writing classes for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, respectively. Taking those classes will promote students' performances in school's all writing related subjects, projects, and prepare students well for the future TJ entrance tests.

The writing classes are instructed by experienced Fairfax School teachers.
Class Schedule:
The 2010 summer session I will start from 8/2 and end at 8/15.
The 2010 summer session II will start from 8/18 and end at 8/29.
